Division Z Poplar Point

Bryant, as a subconsultant, for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) Division Z - Poplar Point Pumping Station Replacement project, which is part of the Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow Control Program for the cleanup of the Anacostia River and the Potomac River. This project consists of a new 50 MGD wastewater pumping station, relocation of the Anacostia Main Interceptor Sewer with 66-inch fiberglass pipe which will be installed by micro-tunneling under the Suitland Parkway and the Anacostia Freeway Interstate Highway, and replacement of the Barry Road sewer with a 24-inch fiberglass pipe which will also be installed by micro-tunneling under the Anacostia Freeway Interstate Highway. Bryant is providing final design of the pipeline relocation, project-wide traffic engineering, permit assistance, and construction administration for this project.
