Seifert Road Bridge Design Survey in Rome, NY
Bryant is the MBE sub-consultant assisting on the replacement of the Seifert Road Bridge in Rome, NY. Our contribution to this project includes design survey, mapping and right-of-way mapping services for the replacement of this two-span bridge that runs over Wood Creek. This was one of three bridge projects in Oneida County to receive funding through the state’s BRIDGE NY program aimed at helping to renew and modernize bridges across the state. One-hundred sixty-five bridges and culverts were selected following a competitive process that considered the structural condition of each project as well as its resiliency and significance, based upon traffic volumes and detour considerations, according to the governor’s office.
