As Director of Survey, Gary is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the survey department in our Boston office – from initial client contact through final review and approval.

With nearly 40 years of experience, including 26 years at Bryant, he has worked with most public agencies in the City of Boston and Massachusetts including Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Boston Water and Sewer Commission, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Massachusetts Port Authority and Massachusetts Water Resources Authority.

Gary’s broad experience includes large and small, rural and city projects, including roadway and utility surveys, housing, airports, universities, railways, bike paths, dams and bridges, hazardous waste sites, waterfront properties and piers, and parks and playgrounds.

Gary is active in many professional organizations including the Society of American Military Engineers, National Society of Professional Surveyors, Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers, Rhode Island Society of Professional Land Surveyors and the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors.

“Summer – I get to spend time at the beach, on the boat and riding in my car with the top down.”

What is your favorite project you’ve worked on & why?

“The Army Corps’ Connecticut River Flood Plan because we got to spend three weeks in the field, motoring up and down the river obtaining water depths for the flood study.”
