Tom began his career as a rodman on a survey crew performing mine reclamation in West Virginia. Today, he has over 25 years of experience and a broad depth of expertise performing various types of surveys in both the private and public sectors.

Tom’s experience includes projects for commercial, retail, roadways, bridges, parks, playgrounds and industrial parks. He has directed various surveys, including ALTA land title surveys, subdivision plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout and as-needed public survey work.

As a licensed Professional Land Surveyor and the Survey Manager for the Midwest, Tom’s responsibilities include overseeing all survey operations of field personnel, client relations and reviewing of all surveys performed. He is an active member of the Kentucky Association of Professional Land Surveyors and a retiree from the U.S. Air Force, having served 20 years in the Kentucky Air National Guard.

What is your favorite project you’ve worked on & why?

Louisville International Airport and Bowman Field, this was a first for me dealing with aviation and the FAA. I have always been fascinated with aviation having served 20 years U.S. Air Force. These projects were both interesting and educational.”
