As part of the ongoing Rhode Island Department of Transportation On-Call Bridge Engineering Program, Bryant is providing comprehensive boundary and data accumulation survey services for the reconstruction of the Howard Road Bridge in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

The objective of the project is to re-open the closed timber deck/steel truss bridge and provide increased structural capacity, while preserving the historical character of the bridge. Bryant’s survey services include obtaining topographic data of the existing conditions, as well as determining the public right-of-way. Utility data was obtained and added to the base plan. Bryant also coordinated and located the delineation of the adjacent wetlands.
