Jim brings over 30 years of experience to every project he works on for both public and private sector clients, while overseeing the civil engineering staff of Bryant’s Boston office. He has worked on numerous transportation infrastructure improvement projects including highways, bridges, and roadways, providing engineering design as well as construction oversight services.

Jim also provides engineering design, environmental permitting and construction management services for institutional, industrial, commercial and residential real estate and civil/site development projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England areas. His background is evenly split between transportation infrastructure improvement and real estate development projects.

Jim’s unique areas of expertise in association with transportation infrastructure improvement projects include Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems Design for the Boston Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel Project, as well as agency experience as a result of a previous position with The Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s highway design section.  Jim has in-depth understanding and applied experience in green infrastructure, which includes environmental site design of stormwater management systems for developments in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Kentucky.

“Springfield College’s New Field House and Wellness Center. To witness students and faculty fully utilizing these new facilities to their fullest was very exciting.”

“There are only two seasons, winter and construction. The sound of a jackhammer is like birds singing in the springtime.”
