Bryant worked on DC Water’s Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow Control Program for the cleanup of the Anacostia River and the Potomac River on the Division Z – Poplar Point Pumping Station Replacement project.
This project consists of a new 50 MGD wastewater pumping station, relocation of the Anacostia Main Interceptor Sewer with 66-inch fiberglass pipe which was installed by micro-tunneling under the Suitland Parkway and the Anacostia Freeway Interstate Highway, and replacement of the Barry Road sewer with a 24-inch fiberglass pipe which was also installed by micro-tunneling under the Anacostia Freeway Interstate Highway. Bryant is providing final design of the pipeline relocation, project-wide traffic engineering, permit assistance and construction administration for this project.
